Vienna's Story

Because of our donor’s gift, I get to kiss a miracle every day.

Vienna  |  Liver Recipient

Three-year-old Vienna’s sparkly smile and wide eyes are enough to make anyone’s heart melt, especially her parents Paul and Traci. However, when Vienna was an infant, doctors told her parents that she suffered from a rare liver disease that would require a transplant to save their tiny baby’s life.

Five months after her diagnosis, a miracle arrived when Vienna received a new liver from a two-year-old boy. Because of this gift, Vienna has blossomed into a bright, bubbly and active little girl.

Paul and Traci marvel at their daughter each day. “We are so grateful to our donor’s family,” said Traci of Vienna’s donor. “Because of his gift, I get to kiss a miracle every day.”
