Advocate Orientation & Training Schedule
Specialty Workshops
Speechwriter's Workshop
Will be rescheduled in January 2012
In a supportive and safe environment, Advocates will bring their current speeches (typed with copies for the workshop) and break into small groups to workshop their speeches collaboratively to seek improvement and constructive feedback. We will use basic rhetorical theory to address structure, clarity of message, and "tricks of the trade" for bringing the best possible speech to varied audiences.
