This April, in celebration of National Donate Life Month, Donor Alliance will join UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central for a flag raising ceremony. In addition to the flag raising ceremony, UCHealth Memorial Hospital Central will be awash in blue and green throughout National Donate Life Month to raise awareness for organ and tissue donation.
Flag raising ceremonies, occurring at hospitals across Colorado and Wyoming are a special opportunity for residents directly impacted by donation to honor donors and raise awareness for donation. Donor families, recipients, those on the transplant list, medical staff and passionate supporters are encouraged to attend the flag raising ceremonies.
Linda Regis, double lung transplant recipient, will participate in the flag raising and briefly tell her story. Linda will also thank her donor and others who decided to leave a lasting impact by giving the amazing gift of life!
