A pounding heart and sweaty brow voiced Eva Krynovich’s thanks Sunday. The 68-year-old heart transplant recipient helped plant hundreds of trees at Red Rocks Open Space, to honor of organ and tissue donors. It was tough work, but Krynovich said she was happy to do it. Just two years ago she was days from death when non-profit Donor Alliance found her a new heart.
