Metropolitan Denver Opportunities:

• Administrative Project: DMV Brochure Boxing. We have a large number of brochures that are slated to be sent to the 60 different driver license offices around the state of Colorado. We are looking for an Advocate to separate them and put them into boxes for shipping. Ideally, this project would be down on a Tuesday or Wednesday between 8:00am-5:00pm (we anticipate the project would take about 5 hours to complete). This project is available at the Spruce Street Office in Denver, CO.
  • Flexible dates & times- e-mail the Volunteer Manager at mdahm@donoralliance.org with your availability.
• DDS/Community Event: Aurora Holiday Tree Lighting. Donor Alliance is excited to be at the annual Aurora Holiday Tree Lighting to educate and inspire residents about how organ and tissue donors are the real “heroes”. This is a free, family-friendly event. We are looking for 2 Advocates to help support a table at the event to giveaway swag and help answer questions from the community about organ, eye and tissue donation! This event takes place at the Aurora Municipal Center in Aurora.
  • Tuesday, December 2, 4:00pm-7:00pm
• Special Event: Parade of Lights! We are looking for 15-25 volunteers to walk with our Gift of Life balloon at the annual Parade of Lights downtown Denver. Advocates are welcome to bring family and friends to this fun downtown Denver tradition! *Currently, this event if full, but to be added to the waiting list, e-mail volunteers@donoralliance.org.
  • Saturday, December 6, 4:00pm-8:00pm
