Keep in mind that any DDS or community events activities require the Becoming a Community Advocate training.

Metropolitan Denver Opportunities:

• Community Event: Denver Broncos Game. Donor Alliance is looking forward to this incredible new partnership! We will be hosting a table outside Empower Field at Mile High before the Denver Broncos game. Advocates will have a fun opportunity to connect with fans, share their meaningful stories, and help answer questions. This event will take place outdoors, so please dress warmly for the weather. This event takes place at Empower Field at Mile High, 1701 Bryant Street, Denver, CO 80204.

• Special Event: Parade of Lights. Donor Alliance is excited for the 52nd Annual Parade of Lights downtown Denver on Saturday, December 5th! Advocates, friends, families and supporters are invited to walk with us in the Parade of Lights, escorting the Gift of Life balloon. Currently, we are recruiting just 12 Advocates and supporters, but will open more spaces up as needed as the event gets closer. To sign up or be added to the waiting list, contact the Volunteer Manager. This event takes place downtown Denver, CO and media will be present.

Southern Colorado Opportunities:

Northern Colorado Opportunities:

• CSU Football Game. We’re back at Canvas Stadium at CSU for our Donate Life Football game on Saturday, November 7th! This event is a wonderful opportunity to help table and raise awareness for donation on the CSU campus. We’ll be onsite to to hand out CSU/Donor Alliance merch to students and community members and enjoy a night of football. The game kicks off at 4pm. This event will take place on the CSU Campus located at 751 W. Pitkin Street, Fort Collins, CO 80523.
  • Saturday, November 7th, 11:00am-4:00pm (shifts are available if you’re unable to stay for the full afternoon).

Western Slope/Grand Junction:

• No current opportunities. Reach out to the Volunteer Manager to initiate an event.

Wyoming Opportunities:

• Community Event: University of Wyoming Football Game. The University of Wyoming Cowboys will host Donate Life Night in honor of organ, eye and tissue donation. Donor Alliance will host a table to educate and inspire the attendees before the game in the Pregame Zone. Advocates are needed to help support the table. This event takes place at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie, WY.
  • Friday, November 20, 2:00pm-7:30pm
• Special Event: Cheyenne Christmas Parade. Your greater Cheyenne Chamber of Commerce is pleased to present the 36th Annual Cheyenne Christmas Parade on Saturday, November 28th at 5:30pm in downtown Cheyenne. This year’s theme is “Believe in the Magic” and the streets will be filled with festive floats, twinkling lights, and plenty of holiday cheer. Advocates for Life, families, friends and supporters will lead a float in celebration of the gift of life to inspire the public to register for organ, eye and tissue donation.
