Event Details

When will the 2026 Wyoming Donor Family Tribute take place?

This year’s Donor Family Tribute will take place Saturday, September 26 at the Wolcott Galleria in Casper, Wyoming.

Where do I park for the Donor Family Tribute? 

We recommend using the parking garage located about a block and a half south of the Wolcott. The entrance is on Center Street with exits onto Wolcott. Parking is free on weekends. Please see the map below for further details.

What does the Donor Family Tribute involve?

This special event will feature inspiring speakers, a photo display, name reading, and other special ways to honor each donor. Lunch will be provided at the beginning of the event.

What is the special recognition ceremony?

During the program, families will have the opportunity to honor their loved one as each donor’s name is read aloud. A photo display will be placed at the front of the room. When your loved one’s name is announced, you will be invited to come to the front of the room and place a flower beside your loved one’s photo as a tribute.

If you prefer not to participate, please let us know at check-in, and Donor Alliance staff will place the flower beside your loved one’s photo on your behalf of your family.

Do I have to submit a photograph to attend the Donor Family Tribute?

No, submitting a photo is optional and is not required to attend the event.

What file types are accepted?

Allowable file types are jpg, png, and pdf. Please send high resolution photos if possible.

Donor Family Quilt Project

What are the donor family quilts? 

The Rocky Mountain Threads of Life quilts are a beautiful tribute to organ and tissue donors. Families are invited to make a quilt square in honor of their loved one, which is sewn into a quilt to celebrate our donor heroes. Completed quilts will be on display at the Donor Family Tribute, and we invite you to contribute a quilt square in honor of your loved one, which will become part of a quilt in the future.

To have your quilt square displayed during the Donor Family Tribute, please bring your completed quilt square with you to the event, or mail it to our office so that it is received by September 18, 2026. If you have already submitted a quilt square, it will be displayed at the event.
