Metropolitan Denver Opportunities:

• DDS/Community Event. Colorado Lean Summit. Donor Alliance looks forward to having a table at the Colorado Lean Summit! This conference focuses on continuous process improvement. The Colorado Lean Network works to inspire, develop and support improvement practitioners to better serve Colorado organizations and communities by connecting existing and aspiring practitioner’s to the right mentors, models and resources. This event takes place at Children’s Hospital Colorado, 13123 E. 16th Avenue, Aurora, CO.
  • Friday, September 5, 7:45am-1:20pm
• DDS/Community Event: CU Anschutz Medical Campus Block Party. The CU Anshutz Medical Campus Block Party returns for its 11th year on Wednesday, September 10th! Enjoy music, food trucks, games, and giveaways from over 140 booths, including Donor Alliance, which will have an informational tables and free gifts for the community. This is a short 3 hour event and is perfect to spread awareness about organ, eye and tissue donation in our community!

• DDS/ Community Event: Liver Life Walk. The Liver Life Walk is a signature event for our partners at the American Liver Foundation (ALF). Providing an inspirational and festive environment, Liver Life Walk events give participants an opportunity to come together and raise awareness and funds in support of the liver community. Donor Alliance looks forward to hosting a table in their expo area to educate and inspire their participants to sign up on the donor registry and hand out swag! We are looking for two Advocates to help support this event, which will take place at Butterfield Crossing Park in Castle Rock, CO.
  • Saturday, September 13, 8:00am-12:00pm (time is tentative and may flex an hour or two).
• DDS/Community Event: Night Market- Fiesta en el Mercado. Kicking off Hispanic Heritage Month, Night Market Fiesta en el Mercado, in partnership with Bonfire Event Company and the Mexican Cultural Center, will bring bold flavors and good vibes to Civic Center Park. This international celebration, centered on Hispanic Heritage, highlights the diversity and creativity of Denver’s communities. This foodie-forward event will showcase a variety of authentic Hispanic cuisines and street food. Donor Alliance is looking forward to hosting a table with information and gifts for the community. This event takes place in Civic Center Park downtown Denver.

• DDS/Community Event: Denver Kidney Walk. The Kidney Walk is more than a walk- it’s a movement of hope, unity, and action. Join us as we rally together to fight kidney disease, celebrate survivors, honor loved ones and raise funds that change lives. Donor Alliance looks forward to once again having a table in the expo area at this meaningful event.

• Special Event: Parade of Lights! We are looking for 15-25 volunteers to walk with our Gift of Life balloon at the annual Parade of Lights downtown Denver. Advocates are welcome to bring family and friends to this fun downtown Denver tradition!

Southern Colorado Opportunities:

• DDS/Community Event: Colorado Vibes Donate Life Game. We’re excited to once again participate in the Rocky Mountain Vibes game on Friday, August 29th at UCHealth Park. We are looking for four Advocates to help support the Donate Life table at the event to talk to fans about organ, eye and tissue donation, sharing resources and handing out swag! This event takes place at UCHealth Park, 4385 Tutt Blvd, Colorado Springs, CO 80922.
  • Friday, August 29, 5:15pm- 7th inning
• DDS/Community Event: Cool Science Carnival. The Cool Science Carnival is a celebration of all things STEAM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Art & Math). We are expecting around 8,000 kids and parents to come through this fun event. We will be setting up a table and talking with families about the lifesaving and healing benefits of organ, eye and tissue donation for transplantation. This event takes place at UCCS on Austin Bluffs Parkway in Colorado Springs.

    • Shift 2: 1:00pm-4:30pm
• DDS/Community Event: Air Force Football Donate Life Night. We are excited to once again partner with the Air Force Falcons for a Donate Life game day to support organ, eye and tissue donation on September 27th against Hawai’i. We are looking for four Advocates to help support the Donate Life table at the event and chat with fans about the importance of donation. It’s a great way to get involved, wear your Donate Life gear and enjoy the game with others in the community!

Northern Colorado Opportunities:

• DDS/Community Event: Ride for Hope. Donor Alliance looks forward to having a table at the Ride for Hope event, in honor of an organ and tissue donor. The event is put on by a fellow Advocate for Life! Please consider joining us to help staff a table at the post-ride main event. The event will take place at Lulu’s Inn in Watkins, CO.
  • Saturday, September 13, 9:00am-3:00pm.
• DDS/Community Event: CSU Donate Life Game. Come join us as we partner with the CSU Rams for a Donate Life game on September 20th! We are looking for 4 Advocates to help engage with fans through interactive booth activities, distribute educational materials, and encourage individuals to register as donors. Advocates may also share personal stories and help spark meaningful conversations with attendees. This event takes place at 751 W. Pitkin Street in Fort Collins, CO.

Western Slope/Grand Junction:

Wyoming Opportunities:

• DDS/Community Event: Art in the Park. Donor Alliance and Rocky Mountain Lions Eye Bank will host a table in downtown Casper Art Walk where we will engage families about donation while providing materials and instruction on origami butterfly craft. We are looking for Advocates to help support the table. This event takes place at Mike Seder Park in Casper.

    • Shift 2: 12:30pm-4:00pm
• DDS/Community Event: Riverton Fall Harvest Festival. Fun, food and family activities abound at the Riverton Fall Harvest Festival where Donate Life Wyoming is excited to host a table to educate and inspire the community about organ, eye and tissue donation. This event takes place at 307 Thrift at 412 East Main Street in Riverton.

    • Shift 1: 10:30am-2:30pm
    • Shift 2: 2:30pm-6:00pm
• Special Event: University of Wyoming Football Donate Life Night. The University of Wyoming Cowboys will go head to head against the Colorado State Rams in support of organ, eye and tissue donation. Donate Life Wyoming will host a table before the game to educate and inspire fans about organ donation. We are looking for Advocates to us staff a table to interact with game participants. This event takes place at War Memorial Stadium in Laramie, WY.
