Kristin Delli Carpini as Chief Executive Officer

DENVER, Colo. — Aug. 06, 2026 — Donor Alliance, the federally designated organ procurement organization serving Colorado and most of Wyoming, today announced that Kristin Delli Carpini will join the organization as Chief Executive Officer, effective September 8, 2026. She succeeds Jennifer Prinz, who is moving into a broader leadership role as president and CEO of the newly formed Vital Impact Health Group, of which Donor Alliance is a member.

Delli Carpini brings more than 30 years of leadership experience in the organ procurement organization (OPO) field, with expertise spanning organizational strategy, clinical and operational excellence, regulatory compliance, performance improvement, Board governance, and stakeholder engagement. She was selected following a comprehensive search led by the Donor Alliance Board of Directors, which sought a leader with deep OPO experience and a demonstrated ability to develop strong teams, drive performance, and strengthen partnerships across the donation and transplantation community.

She joins Donor Alliance from Gift of Life Michigan, where she served as Vice President, Performance Excellence, playing a key role in advancing strategic planning, operational success, and strengthening quality and performance improvement efforts. Delli Carpini also previously held senior leadership roles at LiveOnNY. She holds a Master of Public Health from the University of Kansas.

In her role as CEO, Delli Carpini will be responsible for leading all Donor Alliance programs and services. She will also oversee a staff of more than 250 to effectively serve the more than 6 million residents across Colorado and Wyoming.

Join Donor Alliance at the Denver Days Back to School Fest! After losing her brother, Will, Hannah is finding comfort in knowing his decision to become a donor gave others a second chance at life. She shares how his legacy continues to make an impact and why having conversations about organ, eye and tissue donation matters.

“He was everything to so many people,” Hannah said. “He had a lot of friends. He cared deeply about others. He loved snowboarding. He loved his profession. He loved his life. He really lived a full life, and he touched everyone he knew.”

Will was in his early 30s. In his passing, he saved and healed countless lives through tissue donation. 

“For him to be able to change people’s lives through donation is so special,” Hannah said. “The fact that people are able to carry a piece of him with them and hopefully have him change their lives, that’s the greatest gift he could continue to give.”

Hannah hopes sharing Will’s story encourages others to have conversations with their loved ones about organ, eye and tissue donation and consider registering as donors themselves. For her family, knowing Will’s legacy lives on through others has brought comfort and reminded them that even during loss, one person’s decision can make a huge difference in the lives of others. Will’s family and friends participated in the 2026 Annual Donor Dash to remember him and honor the legacy he has left behind.
