Requesting Updates on Recipients
At any time, family members who enabled the gift of donation may contact Donor Alliance for more information on how their loved one’s donated organs and tissues have and will be able to help others.
Organ Donation
After initial transplant outcome information is given, Donor Alliance is not provided with any further updates on recipients, and we do not have direct access to patient information. However, we are able to work with the transplant hospitals to obtain limited information on recipients upon each request from a donor’s family.
Tissue Donation
Information about donated tissues will only be sent to donor families upon their request. At any time, Donor Alliance may be contacted for general information on how a loved one has and will be able to help others through the generous act of tissue donation. Please be aware that it can take between 6 months and 5 years for donated tissues to be transplanted and specific information to become available. Donor Alliance is not notified when tissue grafts are transplanted, however, we can research the outcome and share with your family how many grafts have been transplanted.

If your loved one was a donor in Colorado or Wyoming, and you would like to request an update, please fill out the form below.
