Event Details

When will the 2024 Donor Family Tribute take place?

This year’s Donor Family Tribute will take place on Saturday, April 27 at the Gaylord Rockies Resort and Convention Center.

Where do I park at the Gaylord? 

You may park in any of the highlighted lots on the parking map. Parking lots highlighted in red are open to the public and space may be limited due to other large events at the Gaylord this weekend.

The STARS lot, highlighted in blue, is available exclusively for Gaylord staff and Donor Family Tribute attendees – we recommend parking in the STARS lot. Enter via Himalaya Road (you cannot access the STARS lot via Gaylord Rockies Blvd). If there is a parking attendant at the gate, please let them know you are with Donor Alliance.

What does the Donor Family Tribute involve?

This year’s event will feature inspiring speakers, beautiful music, a photo tribute, and other special ways to honor each donor.

What is the special recognition ceremony?

Donor Alliance staff will read the names of each donor and also have a photo tribute.

Who attends the Donor Family Tribute?

The 2024  Donor Family Tribute will include families whose loved ones donated between January 1, 2022 – October 31, 2023, Donor Alliance employees and individuals from our partner organizations. This is an invitation-only event.

Can I book a room at the Gaylord for the weekend of the Donor Family Tribute?

Yes, you can book a room at a discounted rate here.

One of my family members requires additional assistance to reach the ballroom. Will there be any assistance available?

Yes. There will be golf carts and wheelchair assistance to get family members close to the ballroom.

Donor Family Quilt Project

Where/how are the Rocky Mountain Threads of Life quilts used outside of the Donor Family Tribute?

Quilts are displayed at special community outreach events throughout Colorado and Wyoming to celebrate those who gave the gift of life and to encourage people to register to be organ, eye and tissue donors.

Pictorial Tribute

How will my loved one’s photograph be used?

Your loved one’s photo will be added to the Pictorial Tribute, a slideshow that will be shown as part of the Donor Family Tribute. Donor Alliance will not use the photos for any other purposes.

Do I have to submit a photograph to attend the Donor Family Tribute?

No, submitting a photo is optional and is not required to attend the event.

What file types are accepted?

Allowable file types are jpg, png, and pdf. Please send high resolution photos if possible.
