Donor Alliance releases infographic examining the need for organ & tissue donation and transplantation

April 2, 2013

Donor Alliance, the federally-designated, non-profit organ procurement organization serving Colorado and most of Wyoming, today released an infographic surrounding organ, eye and tissue donation and transplantation in the two states. The graphic also highlights the national need for transplants, which organs and tissues can be transplanted and other facts about donation and transplantation.

The infographic, distributed with the Donate Life Colorado and Donate Life Wyoming donor registries, was released in tandem with April, which is National Donate Life Month. The designated month honors the generosity of organ, eye and tissue donors and their families and commemorates all transplant recipients in the United States.

Colorado and Wyoming residents can designate their decision to donate when obtaining driver’s licenses or state IDs or by visiting DonateLifeColorado.org or DonateLifeWyoming.org.
