2015 Board of Directors announced, Patrick Green joins

Donor Alliance, the federally designated, non-profit organ procurement organization and American Association of Tissue Banks accredited tissue bank serving Colorado and Wyoming, has added Patrick L. Green, FACHE to its 2015 Board of Directors.

Green is the Chief Operating Officer of St. Anthony Hospital and is a Fellow of the American College of Healthcare Executives. Green has led a distinguished career in medical administration, with leadership roles at Denver Health Medical Center and the University of Washington Medical Center before his current position. He also holds an MBA from the University of Central Oklahoma.

“Working in hospitals, I have seen the life-saving and life-healing impacts of organ, eye and tissue donation first hand,” said Green. “I am proud and excited to lend my assistance in directing Donor Alliance, which has an impressive legacy of saving lives through donation and transplantation, as well as effectively inspiring Colorado and Wyoming residents to register as donors.”

Remaining on the Donor Alliance Board of Directors this year are Bradley T. Kornfeld Esq. (Chair); Deb Smith, CPA (Chair Elect); Kevin M. Smith, CPA (Secretary/Treasurer); John P. Harney, MBA, FACHE; Judy Hutchison, MA; Igal Kam, MD and Mary M. White, MBA, FACHE. Departing from the board this year are W. Ben Vernon, MD and Nancy Williams, BS, JD.

Under the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services’ (CMS) board regulations for organ procurement organizations, the Board of Directors acts as the full, legal authority for management and provision of all organizational services.
