Dr. Brian Davidson added to Board of Directors
Donor Alliance, the federally designated non-profit organization that facilitates organ and tissue donation in Colorado and most of Wyoming, has added Brian M. Davidson, MD to its 2018 Board of Directors.
The only new addition to the nine-member Board of Directors, Dr. Davidson boasts extensive experience in health care management including serving as a faculty anesthesiologist and medical director at the University of Colorado Anschutz Medical Campus and Hospital, one of the busiest transplant centers in the Rocky Mountain Region. He brings direct clinical care experience with transplant patients, matched with healthcare administrative experience at both recovery and transplant centers. Most recently, Dr. Davidson served as chief medical officer and is currently president of St. Mary’s Medical Center in Grand Junction, Colo. A board certified anesthesiologist, Dr. Davidson also holds a Doctor of Medicine and a Master of Business Administration from the University of Colorado.
“I have had professional and personal interest in organ and tissue donation and transplantation since the very beginning of my career,” said Dr. Davidson. “It is an honor to be invited to serve on the board of such an important healthcare organization serving our regional community. Organ and tissue donation and transplantation truly embodies a great human gift. It is an amazing process.”

Griffiths, MS, RN; Thomas M. Gronow, MHA; Judy Hutchison, MA; Bradley T. Kornfeld, JD, Esq.; and Elizabeth Pomfret, MD.
