Wyoming Teen’s Journey Inspires Donate Life Plate
The Donate Life Wyoming license plate exists thanks in part to Bryson Quinney and his father, Eric. Bryson was born with serious heart defects and after multiple surgeries, he received a life-saving heart transplant in March 2020. Now, Bryson and his father, Eric, are champions for organ donation in Wyoming. They played a pivotal role in introducing the Donate Life license plate to the state, aiming to raise awareness and inspire others to register as donors. The plate serves as a “rolling billboard” to promote organ, eye, and tissue donation across Wyoming. To raise awareness, Bryson and Eric worked with state lawmakers to make this plate a reality. Now, it’s a rolling reminder of the nearly 1,300 people in our region waiting for a lifesaving transplant.
Whichever state you reside in, displaying our message on your license plate is an easy and impactful way to raise awareness. It’s a small act that can lead to big conversations and real impact. Every time someone sees that plate, it’s a reminder of the lives that have been saved, the families who’ve found hope, and the many people still waiting. By registering as a donor and displaying the Donate Life plate, you’re encouraging others to consider the gift of life. It’s one more way to be part of something bigger, just by getting behind the wheel.
